Hi, I'm Marcin Stepien, software engineer and entrepreneur focused on social development, philosophy, art, and life science. My academic background includes a degree in Software Engineering from the Polish-Japanese Institute of Information Technology in Warsaw, although I initially began my higher studies in Mathematics at Politechnika Warszawska. My journey in commerce projects started during my middle high-school years in the late nineties. I am based at Krakow, Poland.
Beyond my professional life, I have two passions I'm actively pursuing: painting on canvas, and engaging in analytical philosophy. It was my long undone desire to explore the limits of understanding and computation with the Complexity Explorers Krakow group, a community to which I extend a warm invitation for endless discussion.
I have been doing software consultancy and development since 2005 under smart.biz for various projects and companies. There is a bit more about me on my LinkedIn profile.
